On May 14th 2009, at the initiative of FIAA Board of Directors at Sheraton Tirana was organized the business lunch with the participation of the Leader of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama.

The initiative aimed to better inform the FIAA members and the entire Foreign Business Community, as the biggest employers and contributors, on the program and the plans of the Socialist Party as a possible/future government which will support, collaborate and enhance existing investors and all those willing to come.

FIAA Extends Wishes for a Successful Business Year 2009!

At the initiative of FIAA and with the special participation of the Government of Albania represented by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy Mr. Genc Ruli and of his Excellency, Ambassador of the European Delegation in Albania, Mr. Helmuth Lohan, together with other distinguished guests, ambassadors and attaches, ministers, and government bodies FIAA extended wishes for a successful Business Year 2009.

FIAA co-organizes and participates in the “Labor Fair”

On 23-24 October, 2008, in the Palace of Congresses in Tirana was organized the “Labor Fair”, an initiative of the Ministry of Work, Social Affairs and Equal Chances under the care of the Prime Minister, and FIAA was a co-organizer of this important event.
The successful event consisted in two days activity, on the first day that was also the inauguration was held a Conference presided by the Prime Minister Mr. Sali Berisha, Mr. Anastas Duro Minister of the Ministry of Work, Social Affairs and Equal Chances and Mr. Ilir Zhilla Chairman of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Albania.

Local Government supports investments

On January 27th, 2009 in Vlora was held the conference of foreign investors organized by FIAA with the participation of local and foreign businesses in this district.
The aim of the activity was presenting foreign companies investing in this region and establishing contacts with local authorities.
