New President of FIAA

 The new FIAA Board of Directors hold their first meeting where, as per the By-laws of FIAA they had to elect the NewPresident of FIAA after the prior President Mr. Pierre Semaan who left Albania recently due to other commitments he has out of the country. The New Board of FIAA decided in unanimity that the New President of FIAA would be Mr. Thomas Papaspyrou, the General Manager of Vodafone Albania, Potential Member of FIAA since 2001.

FIAA General Assembly Meeting

On March 20th, 2007, the Foreign Investors Association of Albania organized the General Assembly Meeting electing a new Board of Directors. It was proposed by the FIAA Management that would be very effective to extend the Board of Directors from three to seven people. This fact would help FIAA to better serve to its mission as well as to give the opportunity to more members to represent the Association at the third parties. Apart other issues of the agenda, in the meeting was presented the FIAA Activities Report during the last two years. FIAA Report The Meeting came out with a high diversity of the nations that the New Board Members were presenting.

FIAA General Assembly Elections 2009

On February 24th, 2009 at Sheraton Hotel were held the FIAA-s general elections for five new members in the Board of Directors. Following the welcome notes of the President of FIAA, Mr. Thomas Papaspyrou was the presentation of “FIAA-s Report and Achievements” by the Executive Director of FIAA, Ms. Marinela Jazoj.

Albania is a small country situated in South Eastern Europe in the West of Balkan Peninsula. It encompasses an area of 28,748 square kilometers, between 390 38' and 420 39' of North Latitude and 190 16' to 210 40' latitude, with a maximum length from north to south of about 340 kilometers and a maximum width of about 154 km.
