FIAA co-organizes and participates in the “Labor Fair”

On 23-24 October, 2008, in the Palace of Congresses in Tirana was organized the “Labor Fair”, an initiative of the Ministry of Work, Social Affairs and Equal Chances under the care of the Prime Minister, and FIAA was a co-organizer of this important event.
The successful event consisted in two days activity, on the first day that was also the inauguration was held a Conference presided by the Prime Minister Mr. Sali Berisha, Mr. Anastas Duro Minister of the Ministry of Work, Social Affairs and Equal Chances and Mr. Ilir Zhilla Chairman of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Albania.

Afterwards there was a visit around the fair, where lots of companies, FIAA as well had built their stands to present their job offers and opportunities.
The purpose of the fair was to stimulate employment in Albania by creating an open market of Demand and Offer to improve contacts of jobseekers with businesses and various institutions; develop information technology; develop human resources; improve cooperation with private employment services; present opportunities offered from the Albanian Legislation in force.

More than 75 per cent of the participants in the fair were FIAA members, big companies working to add values to the country’s labor market and exploring human resources.
