FIAA Extends Wishes for a Successful Business Year 2009!

At the initiative of FIAA and with the special participation of the Government of Albania represented by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy Mr. Genc Ruli and of his Excellency, Ambassador of the European Delegation in Albania, Mr. Helmuth Lohan, together with other distinguished guests, ambassadors and attaches, ministers, and government bodies FIAA extended wishes for a successful Business Year 2009.
During his wishes The President of FIAA Mr. Thomas Papaspyrou mentioned the active communication and good cooperation with the Government and state institutions, assuring FIAA members that in 2009 work will continue to align activities in order to better serve its members and fulfill its objectives, in order to improve business environment and attract more investors in Albania.
Minister Ruli in his speech expressed: “I am glad to be here with FIAA, which I found much grown and bigger than ever. This increased number of FIAA members is a testimony that more and more businesses are investing in the country and that there is optimism to invest in Albania. During year 2008 the business community has had a good performance in all directions. For year 2009 I invite everyone to be trustful for a very good year ahead, independent of the global economic crises, a moment that divides people into optimistic, neutral and pessimistic. The government of Albania wishes to FIAA and to all business community courage and trust that reality for year 2009 will be different from the past. We also hope that the crises and difficulties we might encounter in the future will reinforce the partnership between politics and business.

From the other side His Excellency, the Ambassador of the European Delegation in Albania, Mr. Lohan extended also his wishes for a successful 2009 and highlighted the continuity of reforms and economic stability in Albania.
The Vice President of FIAA, Mr. Patrick Pascal emphasized: “The FIAA Members are proud to participate in this development and our association furthermore will fully play its role as a partner and interlocutor near the Government”, as well he greeted the invitees and wished for a successful year 2009.
