FIAA represents most of the FDI stock in Albania from different nationalities, mainly from Italy, Greece, France, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Egypt, UK, US, and a range of economic sectors such as banking and finance, construction, consulting, telecommunication, trading, hospitality industry.

FIAA Board of Directors met with the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Sali Berisha
|
On the other side the Prime Minister welcomed their visit and assured the FIAA Board that his Government is undertaking a number of incentives and measures for improving the Fiscal System of Albania. Also, he added that very soon the Government will present the free areas of Albania.
Another purpose of the meeting was to personally invite his Excellency P.M to be the Speaker Guest in the Inauguration of the Expo-Conference “Albania, a Destination for Investments”, an important activity, initiated from FIAA with the support of several Ministries in Albania with the main objective of promoting the Albanian Natural Resources, which will be held on 27th – 30th of May, 2008.
The P.M kindly accepted the proposal of being the Guest Speaker of the activity and expressed the support of His Government and a closer cooperation of the Albanian Institutions in this important activity.

 Country Profile
Albania is a small country situated in South Eastern Europe in the West of Balkan Peninsula. It encompasses an area of 28,748 square kilometers, between 390 38’ and 420 39’ of North Latitude and 190 16’ to 210 40’ latitude, with a maximum length from north to south of about 340 kilometers and a maximum width of about 154 km.
