About Us

FIAA represents most of the FDI stock in Albania from different nationalities, mainly from Italy, Greece, France, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Egypt, UK, US, and a range of economic sectors such as banking and finance, construction, consulting, telecommunication, trading, hospitality industry.

1. FIAA plays a major role in the development of new laws affecting foreign investment and the wider commercial law. The FIAA organization is here for any member who has problems and is unsure how they may be handled. Every couple of months you will be contacted by FIAA staff to enquire if you are in need of any support. 
   
   
2. FIAA has a large collection of information from Albania laws to general business information and contacts you might require. We are also conducting a Public Relation campaign to send the message to the Albanian people on about how foreign investment can benefit the economy of the country. If you need appointments with ministries or other government departments, FIAA is here to help you.   
   
   
3. FIAA has a networking evening every 3rd Tuesday of the month except in August and December. All members including the organizations such as IMF, World Bank etc and members of government meet to discuss issues. These network evenings have been very successful and very popular. You will make many contacts and develop new friends.

Country Profile

Albania is a small country situated in South Eastern Europe in the West of Balkan Peninsula. It encompasses an area of 28,748 square kilometers, between 390 38’ and 420 39’ of North Latitude and 190 16’ to 210 40’ latitude, with a maximum length from north to south of about 340 kilometers and a maximum width of about 154 km.
